Now you’re ready to draw the head in perspective! But what makes this process significantly more complex than drawing regular heads and faces is that the proportions of the head appear to completely change – yet their measurements still apply. 

Though it appears the head and face no longer adheres to it’s idealized measurements when viewed on an angle, this is simply an optical illusion. The proportions of the head still remain intact when it’s turned in space, it’s just that they’re distorted by perspective.
