Pen & Watercolor Illustration: Beginner’s Approach to Paint Foods Around the World

In this class you’ll learn how to draw and paint elements for illustrations of types of foods. You will also learn to apply colors in layers, highlights and shadows. I will talk about the ingredients, the colors, representations of the subject and the food itself throughout the class.

At the end of this class you will have a clear picture of the elements of different types of foods that you can use to paint your own favorite dish.

I will also show you how to convert some of the illustrations into whimsical characters to present them as greeting cards.
