Hello everyone, my name is Joy D Moyo, and in this course, I will be teaching you how to eliminate market noise and develop a purely quantitative trading edge by building a Naive Bayes Probabilistic Classifier using the MQL5 language. This course is project-based, and we are going to achieve our objectives by abandoning traditional indicator crossovers and stepping into the world of statistical machine learning.
You will learn how to use generative AI to help build an MQL5 data-mining script that performs a massive 10-year historical audit of the markets. We will extract tens of thousands of hours of market data, collect the exact states of the market, and store it all in a CSV file, allowing you to organize, manipulate, and analyze it to find a mathematically proven edge.
In this course, we shall identify high-probability directional moves by fingerprinting the market into 15 specific, independent states. We will achieve this by combining Liquidity Sessions with structural and momentum indicators like Bollinger Bands, the Awesome Oscillator, and the RSI. We will then use the Naive Bayes theorem to calculate the exact probability of where the price will be in the future, based purely on historical frequencies.
The patterns we identify will give us a distinct, objective edge. But more importantly, it will revolutionize how we manage trades. We will code an Elite Expert Advisor that completely discards traditional Take Profits and Stop Losses. Instead, our automated system will use dynamic position sizing—scaling our capital exposure up or down based entirely on the mathematical confidence of the setup. You will learn how to implement pure quantitative exit strategies, such as strict Time-Horizon exits and Probabilistic Decay, ensuring we pull our capital from the market the exact moment our statistical edge vanishes.
