Inspired by my recent hiking and sketching trip to the Alps, in this class I will teach you some tips and tricks for painting realistic mountain lake landscape, paying particular attention to the combination of basic techniques, water control and wet-on-wet approach.
With my guidance this work will be split into doable steps. You’ll see a demonstration of each of them and will get the instructions for better process understanding. You also will find a few photo references in the class materials for your independent practice.
Join this class and you will learn:
- to plan a composition and a course of work
- to better control pigment/water ratio
- to apply atmospheric perspective for creating multiply plans in the landscape
- a method for keeping the paper wet for longer
- a combination of basic watercolor techniques
- to mix loose watercolor with precise details
- to blend colors for harmonious reduced color palette
The lesson may be interesting both for amateur artists who never stop improving their technique and for courageous beginners.
